Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager

Foodservice Consultants Studio (FCS) is seeking a full-time BIM Manager. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter with strong communication and CAD skills (Revit, AutoCAD) to manage all aspects of our BIM processes. Remote work schedule will be considered for the right candidate. Some in-office work is preferred and relocation or travel assistance would be provided.

Qualifications & Required Competencies

  • Advanced Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD skills and the ability to adapt your approach to the foodservice design process

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using remote work tools (BIM360, Dropbox, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack)

  • Minimum of five years of experience using BIM in an architectural, construction, or engineering-related field

  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Proven experience with problem solving, making sound decisions, and implementing process improvements

  • Possesses strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills

  • Conducts self with professionalism and honesty and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a cohesive team

  • Capable of successfully managing responsibilities with little supervision

  • Operates with an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Team management and associate development experience preferred

  • Foodservice experience or equipment knowledge a plus


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the BIM production process, while consistently meeting project deadlines and quality goals

  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with our clients’ BIM team members

  • Develop and execute BIM standards for the firm and quality control checks for projects

  • Provide technical support to other team members

  • Manage software user licenses and make hardware and software recommendations to the leadership team

  • Independently identify and implement process improvement projects, gather stakeholder feedback, and keep stakeholders informed of decisions and progress

  • Document processes and improvements, create training materials, and deliver training to team members

  • Contribute to the company’s growth goals by assisting with hiring and developing the BIM production team
