The Reber-Thomas Dining Center at Liberty University stands as one of our proudest collaborations — a 120,000-square-foot, two-story facility seating more than 2,700 students across 27 food stations, including a dedicated allergen-free room and gluten-free bake shop. Working alongside architect Baskervill, FCS provided foodservice design that married high-volume operational efficiency with an exceptional student dining experience. That work has earned national recognition: in the 2024 NACUFS Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards, the center first earned Gold in both New Facility of the Year and Residential Dining Facility of the Year, then went on to claim the Grand Prize in both categories. It was also honored with an Outstanding Design award in American School & University's 2025 Educational Interiors Showcase. See the facility for yourself.
